Hello!
I just received the felt kit I ordered from G.P.A. and have noticed that the felt pads are not adhesive backed.
I was wondering what type of adhesive is best for gluing these pads to the inside of the rear covers? (902's if that has any bearing)
Thanks in advance.

3M has a really good spray adhesive. I can't remember the #, but it's about 8 bucks a can. I've also used contact cement with excellent results.

Cheap double stick carpet tape works well.

It was my understanding from Bill at GPA that when they were in production they laid out the felts, sprayed them with the 3M adhesive and pressed them in the covers.

Todd: - would that be 3-M Super 77 adhesive (Black can)?
GM - that is a good idea as well!
Thinking - you could well be right, only I did not have the drivers sent in for work, I just ordered some parts.
Thanks to all for the advice!

Yes, 3M Super 77 - that's it.
